1.  A letter from the chief official of your law enforcement agency stating that you have an active commission and have held it for at least two years.

2.  Proof that you've completed Police Officer Standards Training (POST).

3.  A photocopy of the vehicle's registration certificate if it's already registered.

4.  If the vehicle isn't registered in your name, the proper title documentation.

1.  You must be able to provide proof of military service with a valid and legible DD214 that notes the particular campaign and/or branch of service.  You can also get more information from your local LDVA (nearest location HERE).  

2.  A photocopy of the vehicle's registration certificate if it's already registered.

3.  If the vehicle isn't registered in your name, the proper title documentation.

A qualified disabled veteran shall include any veteran who has a service-connected disability of fifty percent (50%) or more and who is a resident of this state.  You can read the full Louisiana State Legislature code HERE. 

1.  You must be able to provide VA disability rating of 50% or more as assigned by the LDVA (nearest location HERE).  

2.  Your Veterans Affair disability certification letter with your identifying information.  Access your VA.gov login to find those letters.

3.  A photocopy of the vehicle's registration certificate.

4.  If the vehicle isn't registered in your name, the proper title documentation.
